As a compliment to the tankoubons (manga volumes) released, sometimes Kubo Tite would add in character profiles along with their theme songs for certain characters. Ukitake's profile and theme song, along with Shunsui's, are featured in Volume 18. Ukitake's theme song is "Back to Innocence" by Jonathan Cain. The song was first released in 1995 in the album of the same name. Here are the lyrics to the song.
